Venues:
Festival Main Tent is located on the Historic Charlottetown Waterfront in the parking lot across from Peake’s Quay Restaurant & Bar (at the foot of Great George Street). The majority of activities take place in the Festival Main Tent including the Chowder Championships, Shucking Championships, Maritime Entertainment on the CTV Stage and Festival Food Vendors offering bar service, steamed clams, steamed mussels, chowder, quahogs and oysters on the half shell. Food Vouchers are available as part of the Shellfish Value Package or can be purchased separately. Shellfish Value Package or Daily Admission required for admission.

The Food Pavilion presented by PEICooks.com offers festival goers a more upscale culinary experience featuring interactive PEI Shellfish Culinary Demonstrations with the Chefs & Students from the renowned Culinary Institute of Canada, as well as Keep on Shucking with Frank’s Red Hot® Oyster Shucking Demos with Champion Oyster Shuckers. Culinary dishes featuring World Famous Shellfish can be purchased inside the Food Pavilion Area. Admission is charged at the door and includes admittance to the Festival Main Tent and the Food Pavilion. Food vouchers can be redeemed at all food vendors.

Offsite Venues include the featured shellfish restaurants located throughout Downtown Charlottetown. Boat Tours, Marine Touch Tank, Free Children’s Activities and Tie One on Mussel Competition can be found in the Historic Charlottetown Waterfront district.
